Mini & Youth Rugby Skills Summer
Camps
Rugby Skills Camp
Monday July 20th - Friday July 24th 9.30am - 3.30pm
U7S - U17S (U7s - U12s - Boys &
Girls - U13s & Above - Boys only)
The Programme: During the
morning sessions, children will move around stations covering core skill areas
including; Handling, Evasion, Specific contact areas (U9s & above) &
Defence Organisation/Patterns. Coaches will adapt the sessions to meet the
requirements of each age group and their skill level. In the afternoons, they
will complete one further skill station before moving into House Teams, made up
of mixed ages and compete against each other in various multi-skill games and
competitions for the last hour.
Cost: Just £90 Book &
pay by 1st May & receive a £10 early booking discount!
Need an early drop off or late collection?
A small supplementary
charge of £6 a day or £25 for the week will be made for early drop offs (from
8.15am) and late collections (up until 4.30pm).
Arrangements for this must
be made in advance. Please advise when booking.
Booking Procedure:
A limited number of
places will be available in each age group. Early booking is advised to avoid
disappointment. To ensure the correct number off coaches are available, bookings
will close at 8pm on Monday 13th July 2009. Please note that full payment by
cash or cheque will be required in advance.
Staff: All Programmes have been carefully devised by staff with
many years experience of running various children's Rugby
activity days / camps. All coaching staff have extensive experience of coaching
Mini, Youth & Senior Rugby. All are CRB checked, hold a Sports First Aid
certificate and have a minimum of a Current Level z Rugby
coaching qualification. In addition there is a Welfare officer on site all day,
who is CRB checked and holds an appropriate First Aid Certificate.
